Addition

The existing timber cottage had a "Japanese Style" renovation by the previous owners several years ago. The new two storey addition uses elements of the style but tries not to overpower the existing single storey cottage. The addition contains a 2 car garage below with a large bedroom, robe and ensuite above. The two parts are connected by an enclosed walkway which becomes the new entry. The house is in a very high fire risk area (Flame Zone) and required bushfire shutters and special detailing.
